Celebrate American Heritage at EPCOT

American Adventure Pavilion in World Showcase

Celebrate history as soon as you arrive at EPCOT.

The American Adventure Pavilion in World Showcase offers one of the most powerful patriotic experiences in the parks.

Inside the stately, colonial-style building, guests can watch The American Adventure, a 30-minute indoor show that highlights major moments in United States history.

The show is hosted by lifelike animatronics of Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain, who guide you through scenes such as the Boston Tea Party, the Great Depression, and the civil rights movement.

Historical figures like Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglass, and Theodore Roosevelt make appearances, adding emotional depth and inspiration to the show’s message.

American Heritage Gallery

More patriotic spirit awaits steps away.

The American Heritage Gallery brings the country’s Native cultures to the forefront through a rotating exhibit of historic artifacts and modern artwork.

Featured artists include fashion designer Loren Aragon, doll maker Glenda McKay, and bead and porcupine quill worker Juanita Growing Thunder.

It’s a must-see space that reminds us of the diverse communities that helped shape our nation.

Luminous Fireworks Show

When evening rolls around, EPCOT ends the day with a bang.

Luminous: The Symphony of Us, the park’s nightly fireworks spectacular, concludes with a special Independence Day finale called Heartbeat of Freedom.

This patriotic tribute lights up the sky with red, white, and blue fireworks choreographed to stirring American music — a fitting end to a day of reflection and celebration.

Step Into U.S. History at Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom brings its own brand of American passion with special entertainment and historical attractions.

Throughout the park, guests will find live DJ dance parties and extended park hours to help keep the festive mood going long after dark.

The Hall of Presidents

This 53-year-old show is not to be missed if you’re visiting patriotic Disney attractions on Independence Day.

While you’re at Magic Kingdom, take a moment to stroll past Liberty Square, where The Hall of Presidents offers a moving tribute to the country’s highest office.

The attraction features a stirring film on the founding of the United States and an impressive lineup of Audio-Animatronics representing every U.S. president.

Though it is temporarily closed for refurbishment as of early 2025, The Hall of Presidents remains a beloved experience for guests seeking a deeper connection to American history.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress

Another nostalgic favorite to pop into on the Fourth of July is one that debuted in 1964 in a completely different state.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is a rotating stage show that follows an American family as they experience decades of innovation, from the invention of electricity to modern-day technology.

While it first appeared at the New York World’s Fair more than six decades ago, it was moved to Disneyland before finding its official home at Magic Kingdom in Orlando.

The show is a celebration of progress, perseverance, and good old-fashioned optimism – a perfect patriotic Disney attraction to visit on Independence Day.

Disney Fourth of July Fireworks

Each year on July 3 and 4, the park presents Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky, a grand fireworks show above Cinderella Castle.

This dazzling display includes patriotic music, synchronized pyrotechnics, and all the star-spangled magic you’d expect from Disney.
