One of the best ways to get to know a city is through its local businesses, makers, farmers, and entrepreneurs. Orlando is no exception.

Every week, you can find a variety of farmers markets sprinkled throughout Central Florida that highlight independent vendors and businesses within the community.

The Orlando Farmers Market is a Sunday staple for many Orlando locals. Dozens of vendors gather around the picturesque Lake Eola in the heart of Downtown Orlando.

While local produce is at its peak in fall and winter months, you can find handmade goods, freshly prepared foods, plants, pet products, and so much more any time of year.

The Orlando Farmers Market is a perfect place to grab a bite to eat and wander through the park on a Sunday whether you’re on a daytime date or a family outing.

While you’re there, take advantage of Lake Eola’s amenities, including a beautiful walking path surrounding the lake, a large shady playground, and swan paddle boats available for rent.

Well behaved and leashed dogs are welcome, too.

Enjoy live music and entertainment as you shop. On select dates throughout the year, you may even find kids' crafts, lawn games, and other special activities.
